SPR-320 Rat Pressure Catheter

The SPR-320 Mikro-Tip^® rat pressure catheter provides optimal data for monitoring high-fidelity cardiovascular pressures at the source. The SPR-320 is the state-of-the-art solution for left ventricular, right ventricular and systemic blood pressure measurements in rats. The high frequency response and robust design enhance your ability to collect the highest quality data possible including the most accurate dP/dt values, streamlining your path to publication.

Along with the SPR-407, the SPR-320 is one of Millar’s most popular catheters for performing hemodynamic pressure studies in the rat model. With a 2F NiTi wire reinforced, Polyurethane catheter body and side-mounted 2F pressure sensor, this model offers increased stiffness for users who prefer a stiffer catheter option during surgical placement. Many users feel this provides optimal delivery across the aortic valve.

The SPR-407 provides a catheter length of 140 cm, which also allows for in vitro use in bench-top applications.
