Small Animal Telemeters

Telemetry system by Millar and Telemetry Research

Telemeters measure, process and transmit high-fidelity pressure, sympathetic nerve activity (SNA), biopotential (i.e., ECG, EMG, EEG) and tissue oxygen information via telemetry from within the animal. The telemeters recharge wirelessly in-vivo with transmission range up to 5 m.

Features

  • Medical grade silicone elastomer
  • Completely sealed, no battery to be replaced
  • Designed to be fully implantable, allowing for subcutaneous or intraperitoneal placement
  • 16 channels available for data transmission
  • Rechargeable using patented inductive energy transfer through the skin
  • Data collection intervals scheduled manually or via software
  • All telemeters include integrated core body temperature measurement
