Telemetry System Configuration

The TRM telemetry system configuration enables researchers the ability to measure multiple, high-fidelity physiological signals in free moving animals. These include pressure, sympathetic nerve activity (SNA), biopotentials (ECG, EMG, EEG) and tissue oxygen.

The telemetry system setup requires one SmartPad and Telemeter per animal, a single Configurator and a data acquisition system. Millar recommends using ADInstruments PowerLab and Lab Chart Data Acquisition Hardware and Software for complete data analysis.

The system can be configured to meet your exact needs, whether that involves studying multiple animals and/or signals. Refer to the Telemeters, to determine which model measures the physiological data your study requires.

Basic Telemetry System Setup

  1. Configure the SmartPad and Telemeter
  2. Implant the Telemeter
  3. Connect the SmartPad to ADInstruments PowerLab and Lab Chart Data Acquisition Hardware and Software

If you would like additional information, contact Millar to schedule a demonstration or training on the TRM Telemetry System.
