FOR ANIMAL USE ONLY
With a combined 85+ years of experience, Millar and ADInstruments have been advancing medical research around the world. Our partnership combines Millar’s industry-leading catheter technology and ADInstruments’ powerful data acquisition and analysis systems.
From ventricular and arterial pressure to intracranial, airway and tumor pressure, Millar catheters deliver high-fidelity measurements that help drive breakthroughs. Backed by decades of solid-state sensor innovation, our pressure catheters help researchers measure with accuracy, reliability and confidence.
Millar Mikro-Tip® single pressure catheters are designed for mice, rats, and larger animal models such as pigs and sheep. Features include: single high-fidelity pressure sensor side-mounted at the catheter tip, sizes ranging from 1 F (0.33 mm) to 6 F (2 mm) in diameter, and straight and curved tips without pigtail.
Millar Mikro-Tip multiple pressure catheters are the ideal solution for measuring accurate pressures in larger animal models, such as pigs and sheep.

Millar catheters can measure a wide range of physiological pressures, including ventricular, arterial, intracranial, airway, tumor or spinal pressures, across both small and large animal models.
Single-sensor catheters provide localized pressure data from one region. Multi-sensor catheters enable simultaneous measurements at multiple sites, helping researchers assess pressure gradients or capture dynamic changes along the catheter path.
Most Millar catheters are reusable and designed for multiple experiments, provided they are properly cleaned and maintained between uses. Refer to the product-specific guide for care and handling instructions.
Millar catheters can be easily connected to most data acquisition platforms using a Millar Pressure Control Unit and appropriate interface cables. They are also compatible with analysis software like ADInstruments’ LabChart.
