This state-of-the-art product line is reusable - non-sterile and features single pressure catheters for left ventricular, right ventricular and systemic blood pressure measurements in dogs, pigs and sheep, while our dual pressure catheters are designed for measurements in other large animals, such as cows and horses. The high-frequency response and robust design enhance your ability to collect the highest quality data possible.
The SPR-751 is Millar's curved tip dual pressure option for larger animal blood pressure measurements. Its straight tipped 5F counterpart, the SPR-751S, can be placed to monitor aortic and LV pressures simultaneously using either a femoral or carotid approach.
The MPR-500 Mikro-Tip® large animal pressure catheter provides a more flexible option for monitoring high-fidelity cardiovascular pressures at the source.

Large Animal Pressure Catheters
SPR-350
Our popular SPR-350 Mikro-Tip® large animal pressure catheter is made from 5F polyurethane woven Dacron catheter material to provide robust and steerable delivery of the pressure sensor. At 120 cm, the catheter can be placed into the LV using either a femoral or carotid approach. The curved tip can aid placement over the aortic arch and across the aortic valve. The SPR-350S is the SPR-350's straight tip counterpart.
For an entry level hemodynamics system, use the SPR-350 Dog/Pig/Sheep pressure catheter with the PCU-2000 pressure control unit, a modular PowerLab data acquisition system with LabChart analysis software and the Blood Pressure analysis module. Or for the most complete cardiovascular analysis solution for your lab, combine the SPR-350 with the MPVS Ultra® Pressure-Volume Loop system and a Ventri-Cath PV loop catheter.

SPR-751
The SPR-751 Mikro-Tip® large animal dual pressure catheter features a curved tip for measuring LV and aortic pressures in dogs, pigs and sheep using either a femoral or carotid approach. The curved tip can aid placement over the aortic arch and across the aortic valve when using the femoral approach. There is a 3 cm spacing between the sensors and an effective length of 120 cm.
This model is available with a curved or straight tip.
