SPR-407
Along with the SPR-320, the SPR-407 is one of Millar’s most popular catheters for performing hemodynamic pressure studies in the rat model. With a Nylon catheter body of 1.5F and a 2F pressure sensor, this model offers increased flexibility for users who prefer a less stiff catheter option during surgical placement. The SPR-407 provides a catheter length of 140 cm, which also allows for in vitro use in benchtop applications.
For an entry level hemodynamics system, use the SPR-407 rat pressure catheter with the PCU-2000 pressure control unit, a modular PowerLab data acquisition system with LabChart analysis software and the Blood Pressure analysis module. Or for the most complete cardiovascular analysis solution for your lab, combine the SPR-407 with the MPVS Ultra® Single Segment Pressure-Volume Loop system and SPR-838 rat pressure-volume catheter.
