Small Mammal Pressure Catheters
The Millar Mikro-Tip® pressure catheters for small mammals provide optimal data for monitoring high-fidelity cardiovascular pressures at the source. They are reusable - non-sterile and are your state-of-the-art solution for left ventricular, right ventricular and systemic blood pressure measurements in rabbit-sized small animal models.
Their high-frequency response enhances your ability to collect the highest quality data possible, including the most accurate dP/dt values, streamlining your path to publication.
With a Nylon catheter body of 2.2F and a 3F pressure sensor, the SPR-249A offers increased flexibility for users who prefer a less stiff catheter option during surgical placement. The SPR-595 Mikro-Tip® incorporates a curved tip into the SPR-249A design for increased access to the right ventricle, making it the preferred solution for right ventricular blood pressure measurements in rabbit-sized animal models.
The SPR-524 features advanced sensor design and is capable of providing continuous high fidelity pressure measurement for up to seven days.
Available Models
Designed for animal research, the SPR-524 features advanced sensor design for maximum durability, drift of less than 3 mmHg per 24 hours and a versatile 3.5 French tip. This low-cost reusable catheter offers an affordable option to researchers requiring continuous high fidelity pressure measurement for up to seven days. The SPR-524 is often used to monitor pressures in the left atrium or ventricle, but it may also be used in a variety of other animal research applications.
NOTE: The SPR-524 is non-repairable and is warranted for 30 days against defects in materials and workmanship.
